Avellino’s Italian Restaurant

I ordered a large cheese, mushroom & kalamata olive through the slice app. The pizza itself was probably the best NY Style pizza I have had in soflo. The dough is excellent with just the right chew vs crisp. The sauce is perfectly balanced sweet vs acidic & the amount of toppings were perfect. Unfortunately, it arrived barely at room temp. Why does "Slice" not deliver in insulated pizza carrier's?????? Doesn't the name imply they specialize in pizza delivery? It's the second time "Slice" handed me a neutral warm pizza box, so you know, it wasn't inside any pizza bag carrier, unbelievable

So, Avellino's....Huh ..A BIG Surprise today! I had Googled Pizza...Saw some nice pics of Entrees and . Decided, spur of the moment to go...And ...Well, you know I'm a Conosuear....BAM!!! This place is Awesome! Their menu items cover the gamut of what you might be in the mood for when eating Italian food, with relatively fair pricing, with nothing really expensive as considering the size and quality of the food served The kids menu, includes lasagna, stuffed shells or baked ziti for 8. I only tried the margarita pie... And I got to tell you it's one of the best ever tasted in Palm Beach and Broward County. I'm not kidding the sauce to fresh mozzarella ratio was perfect... The bottom was thin and crispy.... Even the taste of the dough was quality stuff. A must-have. Come to think of it this place is a definite Come Back Spot.... And eagerly look forward to my next visit here. Update as of September 7th 2024 I tried I tried their margherita pizza again it was excellent. Another nice dish is the the minestrone soup as a substitute to the salad. It's nice they dice up, and the ingredients are light and healthy. *Feb 28, 2025: An Update* Got the Go-to Margarita Pies, Garlic Rolls, Chicken Wings, Veal Sorrentino, Lasagna, Parmesano Encrusted Salmon, Pasta Fagioli Soup

Excellent. The pizza is absolutely superb. Crispy underneath, great sauce, gooey cheese and the crust has major crunch. The brick oven really elevates the pizza past the typical places that stick to the regular ovens. The Veal Parm sub is also a really good, hot sandwich. Loved everything here.

I was born and raised in an Italian immigrant Brooklyn neighborhood where there were A pizzerias on every corner. Avellino’s is the best pizza I’ve had in the 9 years since I’ve moved to Florida !! Delicious- thank you. My new favorite pizza in Delray Beach!

Food is always very delicious. Owner is always there to make diners feel comfortable. If you are looking for great atmosphere, look elsewhere. But if you are looking for great food & service this is your place

Excellent pizza. Before returning back North, that’s the last meal we decided to have. It is just great.

Absolutely delicious food. Extremely clean restaurant. Servers are very friendly and efficient. We have never been disappointed or never had a bad server.

The BEST Italian restaurant in the world 10/10. The food here is so authentic and always freshly made . The garlic rolls are to die for and no matter what decide to get , they won’t disappoint. The staff is so amazing and welcoming . They treat you like family . The manager ANDREW and his staff are always so pleasant. I’ll definitely be back soon
